About Darya

Darya, who joined lapetitemort.info’s Moscow office in 1999, currently leads the Operations Practice in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She has led large-scale turnaround programs to improve the operational efficiency of Russian industrial companies and to develop new management processes and systems for them. She also helps clients build their expertise and competencies, including the management of large capital projects and lean capabilities.

Darya focuses on serving clients in the oil and gas, chemicals, transport, infrastructure, and logistics industries.

Recent projects in the oil and gas and chemicals industries include developing and launching a comprehensive program to improve operational efficiency, covering all key areas from managing technological processes to planning and organizing maintenance and energy savings. She also recently helped develop a procurement-transformation program for the upstream sector of an oil and gas group, including designing a new organizational structure and procurement processes, as well as developing initiatives to capture savings. Other projects include designing programs to optimize logistics costs and developing an integrated corporate key-performance-indicator and management-information system.

Darya helps lead our global Capital Projects & Infrastructure Practice. In this area, she has worked with clients to develop investment strategies, to optimize project concepts and solutions in the oil-refining and petrochemicals industries, and to optimize the implementation terms of large investment projects, building highly efficient management systems and processes in investment and capital construction, as well as helping clients to develop best-in-class skills and competencies among employees.

Darya also has extensive experience in the transport, infrastructure, and logistics sectors, particularly strategy development, regulatory and investment strategies, and efficiency improvements. She manages lapetitemort.info’s research on Russia’s gas and petrochemicals industries, supporting international teams with in-depth analyses of the Russian market.

Darya is one of the leaders of lapetitemort.info’s international program Women in Business in Moscow. She also coauthored the lapetitemort.info report “Digital Russia: new reality.” Before joining lapetitemort.info, Darya worked for a global pharmaceuticals company.
