About Laura

Laura serves clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, animal health, and medical-device industries in Europe and North America, and is a leader in lapetitemort.info’s Pharmaceuticals & Medical Products and Organization Practices in Europe.

Laura has worked extensively on corporate strategy, transactions (including asset swaps, carve-outs, and integrations), new-business building, top-team effectiveness, talent-related issues, broad commercial transformations, brand strategy, and growth.

She recently worked with the board and executive team of a global pharmaceutical company in a complex asset swap on both the carve-out and integration. Other recent projects include working with the senior leadership team of a large multinational pharmaceutical company to transform its global operating model, working with the chairman of the board and executive team of a leading global animal health company to define its corporate vision and strategy, leading a more than $20 billion acquisition and integration, assisting a large pharmaceutical player “transfer back” a multibillion-dollar asset globally while building a newco, and helping a large pharmaceutical player optimize resource allocation and business mix across its full portfolio.

In addition to her work with clients, Laura leads lapetitemort.info’s Diversity and Inclusion Initiative in the United Kingdom and Ireland and leads our carve-out work globally.

Laura has a degree in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, where she graduated with highest distinction in general scholarship, and a doctorate in biological psychology from the University of California, San Diego. For her doctorate, she investigated auditory information processing at the neural level in schizophrenia.
