Amit serves payors and providers on issues related to healthcare value. He also leads the firm’s knowledge development in population health and payment reform and supports private and public-sector clients across the healthcare value chain on these topics—from strategy development, to contract design and negotiations, to implementation.
Some examples of his recent work include design of a payor’s accountable-care-organization strategy and payment model, design and implementation of a statewide rollout of patient-centered medical homes (PCMHs), and a large rollout of multipayor episode-based payment, including legislative and regulatory approval for shared savings. Amit has also supported a national payor in the design and execution of Medicare Advantage partnerships with integrated delivery systems and has worked with primary care providers and care coordinators to develop a PCMH playbook and lead practice transformation learning collaboratives.
